Hopefully the days when we all believed that all you had to do was hand all your money over to the smart boys in nice suits and they'd put it in their super-steroid version of "the market" and you could get richer than all the suckers are over.
Big pension funds have a lot of money. People should be paying them for the privilege of playing with it, not vice versa. They should have clout to demand guaranteed rates of return. Let the smart boys in nice suits take the risks.
