Dean Baker's been hitting this point for some time, but it's useful to point out why. The banksters got their free money, they had their do over. The financial crisis didn't cause the recession because we took care of them. We filled that part of the hole.
If only someone would take care of 'us' then we wouldn't have any recession at all.
