Desperate To Be The Tough Guys

A lot of what is going on is a certain segment of Democrats (elected and otherwise) constantly want to prove they aren't big wimps LIKE THOSE OTHER DEMOCRATS. I'M A TOUGH GUY, I DON'T NEED TO A WEAR A MASK.

So many positions coded as macho/tough in our politics, though you can guess which party tends to get those voters.
