An underdiscussed issue in this country is how a lot of regional airports are basically useless at this point. Missing from a lot of the discussion about why jobs/people congregate in and near major cities is the fact that unless you are near a fairly major airport, you aren't really near any airport at all.
Bus feeders with seamless bag transfer that allow you to do security before boarding the bus, instead of at the airport, don't solve that problem but are still an improvement over nothing!
