There was a real story there -- a delightful tale of a coordianted crap campaign by manipulative politicos, but that story was never as good as the Bill Clinton Got A Haircut And For Some Reasons Airplanes Couldn't Take Off Story.
Which, if you think about it, never made any goddamn sense anyway.
