I'm someone who is always pretty skeptical about the value of political art - music, movies, whatever. It's usually either too ham-handedly blunt, naively utopian, or strangely ineffectively realist. But, I also wonder about the degree to which art - high, low, middle, pop, whatever - is strangely
apolitical these days. Maybe I'm missing something.
