"What do you think about the "bring them on" challenge President Bush issued July 2 from the White House, referring to those who attack U.S. troops in Iraq?"
The two answers you can choose between other than "Don't Know" are:
-
"It showed U.S. resolve and confidence in troops to finish the job in Iraq"
"It was irresponsible and unnecessarily placed the lives of U.S. troops in even greater danger."
Considering how weighted the critical of Bush choice was, what with its charge of lives in danger, I'd expected to find Choice 1 the overwhelming favorite. Not so.
-
"It showed U.S. resolve and confidence in troops to finish the job in Iraq 43.98 % (1,082)
It was irresponsible and unnecessarily placed the lives of U.S. troops in even greater danger 53.94 % (1,327)
I don't know 2.07 % (51)"
Could it be that military personnel and the people who love them are getting exactly the message from this administration contained in Lambert's headline below?
