Court mostly rules against the Bush administration. While Bush can declare people "enemy combatants," and lock them away without charges, at least they can go to court over it, including everyone at Gitmo.

...and, yes, as attaturk says in comments it's likely that Rehnquist signed on so that he could choose who wrote the opinion. Which means in this, as with many things, we're one Supreme Court justice away from... (I swear this fit with the initial reporting I read earlier, but it
