It's no news that "moderate" Arlen Specter has been drifting rightward for years. And, it should be obvious to all that when (supposedly) pro-choice Specter got Bush and Santorum to support him in his near-losing primary race against wingnut Toomey that Specter had pledged to do whatever he could to get all of Bush's judicial nominees through. In fact, he said as much. "Moderate" Arlen Specter just voted to support the nomination of anti-enviornmental extremist Myers to the bench, who miraculously manage to be blocked by the full Senate.
