The pundit's arrogance that he knows what's best for Washington. The lazy pundit's equation of things which are not the same - two year long investigation by a special prosecutor and a decade long investigation by an independent counsel. The claim, without irony, something good coming out of the Iraq war might be that the beltway press might realize it's important to do their job.
