While I'm not as acquainted with the full details of the legislative process as I should be, as far as I know there's been a sorry lack of small crazy-ass liberal stuff being thrown into bills in the dark of night when no one notices. That seems to me to be precisely the way to deal with stuff like
this stupid SCOTUS decision. While on its own one can see conservatives opposing it, slipping in one line into some bill in conference probably wouldn't inspire enough opposition to derail a bill.
