I think football was on previously, but in any case I find myself being confonted with Kenneth Copeland on my local Fox Affiliate. While I used to pay a wee bit of attention to televangelists, it's been along time since I've actually watched them.
Anyway, this dude is really weird. Truly bizarre. I don't have any idea what he's talking about - the sound is off - and for all I know he's a proud liberal reading from the Holy Book of Atrios. This post isn't about his politics or his religion, because I know nothing of either, but instead the fact that he's really creepy.
What fascinates me is how a really weird seeming dude like this actually gets a following. He isn't good looking, or charismatic in a broader sense. He's the kind of guy you run from at social gatherings because, well, he's just creepy.
