I used to be much more supportive of bringing transit to the unserved masses, but now I also am much more in favor of expanding service in places that
are more well-suited for it. Though, frankly, as much as I love my SUPERTRAINS in plenty of places improved land use policies are actually much more important than service expansion. Or, at least, improved land use policies could allow much better use of existing transit routes.
