I know the people who run the Washington Post have a slightly different sense of what they're for than what I think they should be for and, more importantly, what they probably ever admit publicly what they imagine their role in the universe is. Still, as a mainstream journalistic enterprise which notionally clings to, for better or for worse, the norms of contemporary journalism one would think that "not completely misleading readers" would be part of their mission. But, no,
