It is very difficult to bring mass transit to
suburban sprawl, because the distances from the stations to...everywhere... is often quite far in part due to the massive parking lots. Tysons Corner is planning for infill, but that will take some time. Reasonably people will walk about a half mile or so and not much more, especially if parking is free and plentiful.
