While I'm usually at peace with the plight of the atheist in this country, I do occasionally get a bit cranky about the fact that most of us are in actuality much more "tolerant" of religion in the sense of
not actively justifying employment discrimination based on it. Atheists are no threat to religion, zealous religious bigots are.
