I think these proposed residential parking permit increases are too small to make any
kind of difference, but when people in my urban hellhole start complaining about the lack of parking I went to tell them to just do the math. There's room, maybe, for one on street parking spot per building. Most buildings on my block are single family homes, but a couple are divided into apartments. There just isn't room for multiple vehicles per building, and of course nonresidents get to park (enforced 2 hour parking) as well.
