As inequality and the size of the underclasses rise,
expect more of this. For a long time in the US, poverty has been associated with urban minorities (somewhat incorrectly of course). And we all know what's wrong with them! EvenTheNewRepublic told us! As this image of the underclass becomes impossible to maintain, we'll learn that the problem with poor people isn't that they're black (though that's a problem too!), it's that they're just rotten bad and depraved people who never learned the manners and etiquette of our betters, like Jonah Goldberg or Dick Cheney.
