Personally, I'm quite happy for parents to bring the children - of all ages - to adult playgrounds. I don't expect children to be perfectly behaved in such places as they are children and can't be expected to be perfectly behaved. I think it's nice that in the summer, especially, parents feel comfortable stopping for a quick drink in the early evening because there are outdoor spaces where a stroller can more easily fit and maybe there's a bit more space for a release valve if the kid has a meltdown.
But they're still adult playgrounds.
