Obviously there's no perfect way to make these comparisons, but I'm not really sure the situation in Spain is "not as dire" as the situation in Greece, as the teaser paragraph for this article says.
Unemployment in Greece is 23.1% Unemployment in Spain is 24.6%.
It's pretty fucking dire.
