Preserving wilderness is great, though in doing so there's a question of how much human access you should allow to that wilderness. But urban parks aren't wilderness. They aren't really even nature, even though they might have have some grass and trees. They're spaces which should be welcoming to
humans and human activity, though for some reason lots of people like to pretend they're bits of unspoiled wilderness. They aren't.
