UK rail privatization went from being a corrupt plan to transfer taxpayer money to rich people which had the added benefit of not working at all to being a corrupt plan to transfer taxpayer money to rich people which kinda-sorta-works-well-enough if at too high ticket prices.
But still totally corrupt!
