One thing I've learned over the years is that conservatives think we're like bizarro versions of them on some issues. They like low taxes, so they think we
like high taxes. They like (or imagine they like) small government, they think we like big government. When, you know, we just think there's some stuff the government needs to do and we need to figure out how to pay for it.
