Whatever his flaws (and he's almost all flaw),
Richard Cohen always managed to write some good prose. And his "only A Fool-Or, Possibly, A Frenchman-Could Conclude Otherwise," line did perfectly capture a moment. It was a moment of horror and stupidity, a moment when a nation gone mad was determined to rain death and chaos upon the population of another country because Benghazi (makes as much sense as any reason then), but he expressed it perfectly.
