Our Brand Is Crisis

Given the weird Bolivia/Morales/Plane news, it might be worth revisiting the documentary Our Brand Is Crisis. It's about US political advisers (you will recognize them) going to Bolivia to do their best to smash their elections. The filmmaker is clearly initially smitten with them, but then can't ignore how the country is going to total shit because (in part) of their actions.
