I'm not too picky about service in restaurants. As long as the food shows up hot (as appropriate) in roughly the right order I don't care if the waitperson is attentive to my every random need. But I do think that people who go to these
types of chain restaurants do expect good service. If you're cheap with your employees, they aren't going to get that.
