It'll be interesting watching the failed de Blasio mayoralty. The most liberal of all liberal urban hellholes has, somehow, managed to not elect a Democrat to that position since 1990. I imagine that every single policy decision that isn't designed to cater to the finances and feefees of New York's richest 100 citizens will be universally blasted as "populist" because that's how things work these days.
