I don't object to gas stations except to the extent that I object to any strip-mallish development in the urban hellhole, but I'm guessing the economics will work against them here
as it has in NYC. We've lost a couple in broader Center City, and I would be shocked if anyone tried to build a new one. I think the issue is that people are pretty price sensitive to gas for various reasons, so places operating in locations with expensive real estate can't really raise prices much.
