I'm endlessly fascinated by the hostility to
pedestrians in New York media. Yes I get that journalists are largely in the car driving class, as are politicians, which is why their sympathies in this area tend to lean towards drivers, but in New York City, except for those who live in
the Cuomo bits, even if you drive you're still going to be a pedestrian. I suppose the exception is people who are ferried door to door in town cars and limos, but...
