For-profit law schools in
particular are a big grift, but the whole industry is to some extent. And while I'm all for people getting paid, the fantasy the law professors "need" to be highly compensated because "of course" they can get high paying jobs elsewhere (hahaha good luck with that, go get an offer) is ending too. Again, don't resent the wages, just the attitude that relative to others in academia, people who face peer review and other assorted nightmares, they're extra special and valuable because The Market.
