One (there are many) problem with it is that something can only be a scandal if "one side" makes it a scandal, making even obvious crimes by politicians essentially a political issue.
The Obama administration was scandal free (except for BENGHAZI I guess) It shouldn't have been, but the scandals were those things that had bipartisan support.
