One of the measures of whether a DC journalist is completely full of shit or not is whether they ever pretend (selectively, of course) it's weird when politicians swear. I'm sure some don't, but many of them do, and not like in a hushed voice way, but in a David Mamet play "this is just how we fucking talk" way. Not just the men, either. Any political journalist knows this, and if they pretend otherwise they really are just lying.
