As I always say, of course theater matters in politics, but for some reason our political press argues that
it's the thing that does and should matter most. In 24 hours the few people who happened to have cable news on and saw any of this will have forgotten it. People who get a new "if you get sick, you die" insurance policy will have other more important things to worry about.
