I guess I find the obsession with this French election to be a bit weird. No one ever thought LePen was going to win (no poll ever showed it even close), but it's depressing she got that many voters, and something something something Russia and Bernie Bros.
Things that happen in the rest of the world matter, and can be connected, but usually elections in other countries have as much to do with US politics as elections in the US have to do with the politics of other countries.
