I've long commented that Republican mythology is a bit like an X-files-type series that's gone on too long. The mythology gets more and more complex and incomprehensible, largely because it never really made any sense in the first place, as they keep piling on more and more layers of gibberish. It's good fun for the fans, but everyone else is a bit confused.
Fan service is good, but I do not want the Dems to emulate that particular kind of fan service.
