I've said all along that impeachment, while seemingly deserved, was arguably not strictly necessary (I'd take the other side of that argument, but..). But then Barr came in with "LOL Congress can't even speak to witnesses unless we approve it no matter who they are unless they're impeaching (and probably not then)" or some shit like that and... well, what are you going to do about it?
