A problem in the world of
progressive Big Non-Profit is that they rely on wealthy donors. Not just one idiosyncratic weirdo that you have to please but a lot of them, including corporate donors. It's pretty much impossible to advocate for a broad progressive agenda with so many masters. Always risking pissing some of them off.
