I pick on Pelosi because she's the only Dem who really has power at the moment. And she does *have power*. When the Dems are locked out of power completely they genuinely have the excuse that they can't do much more than sternly worded tweets (née letters). Then they mobilize people, ask for campaign contributions, run on doing stuff and... well, do it.
