When the Trump era is over, half of "his people" will write books about how they sacrificed themselves to do their best to stem his worst instincts (often without clearly defining what those were, other than 'bad tweets') and will be hosting MSNBC shows soon enough. The other half will carry on the spirit of Trumpism, fighting each other to be on top of the grifter pile. All will be embraced as very fine people, and it will be very wrong of anybody to be mean to them in restaurants.
