I don't know if my blaming "generation leadbrain" is just a bit of wishful thinking (it is a bit, at least, I know) but you don't have to look very carefully to see that many elected Republicans and their supporters, and most of their prominent pUbLiC iNtEllEcTuals, are utterly depraved individuals who would likely kill your grandmother without a thought (gazing at the Covid response, dont argue with me), and kill their own for a tax cut.
