Teens in the US can be vaccinated, but when we had "peak media shaming of people still wearing masks," they hadn't even been approved yet (almost), and would be several more weeks before even the most diligent people could possibly be fully vaccinated.

Lots of people with an altered life.

An elite media just filled with smug sociopaths.

(again, for the back, whether or not there's much direct benefit of vaccinated people wearing masks, removing any cultural pressure to wear them, in fact exerting the opposite, had easily predictable consequences)
