I don't claim to have deep knowledge of what the various members of the Wanker Caucus, including Manchin and Sinema, want. Or, specifically, who it is that keeps demanding "bipartisanship" for various things. But I don't think it's limited to just the wanker caucus.

The Republicans are assholes, but Mitch McConnell is basically right that the Democrats control the presidency, the House, and the Senate, and it's their job to handle things and the job of the Republicans to oppose it. "Peculiarities" of our system, specifically the filibuster, make that more difficult and make the Republicans even bigger assholes (they can just vote against, not require 60). However, it takes 5 minutes to pass a rule change.
