I say this occasionally, but even in the depths of the Bush administration I felt like there was plenty of room to indulge more trivial things, but the twin threats of Trump (and post-Trump) and Covid make other things sounds, well, trivial. Can barely bring myself to talk about SUPERTRAINS or any of my other peculiar interests.
This is not the Great And Glorious Biden Era I was promised (and no it isn't all Biden's fault).
