Compromising On Race

Shadi's one of the dumbest people on the planet, but he represents Brookings which gives him respectability.

I didn't say build a cross-ideological coalition. I said to "try," in other words at least make a good faith effort not to alienate/undermine mainstream, non-denialist GOP voters and candidates. On abortion, race, and gender identity, there wasn't even the pretense of a big tent.
