I am not right about everything but I have long said that abortion polling obscures actual support for abortion rights. The third middle option - some form of "do you favor some restrictions" always offers respondents the "reasonable" answer.
Rape/health exceptions are always assumed by people answering these polls, as they can't even imagine monstrous policies that wouldn't include them.
They couldn't before, anyway.
