Sam was throwing a lot of money around at certain influential people/circles (not just politicians!), and it's a big reason so much of The Discourse was fucked during that time period. It's a reason Eric Adams is mayor!
It's the real reason I gave a shit about the SBF trial, but as I said we'll probably never hear anything more about it.
