More observation than criticism here: there are journalists whose beat is the Kennedy campaign and because of that they keep him in the news, which of course increases his poll numbers (some at least)
"Free media" - whether journalists pay attention to you just because - is crucial to any such campaign. Who makes those decisions and why?
