Bonfire

A pretty good encapsulation of the responses of political journalists (Semafor guy here) to criticism since I've been doing this.  Basically: our critics are only concerned with narrow partisan electoral goals, and also nothing we do matters so why do they care???

These fools think what we do is important! 

He never actually addresses the basic question, of course: should outlets have been calling him a liar for years, or not? You see, no matter what they do, it's correct, and you're a stupid partisan if you disagree!
